LR-60 and Qero
"LR-60" (Skip Warren) is most recently known as the trumpet player on his four album collaboration with the prolific electronic artist "Mr. Moods", this after a ten year tour from 1981-1991 with the legendary Blues artist Bobby "Blue" Bland. Warren's tenure with Bobby bland produced countless concerts with the likes of B.B.King, Albert King, James Brown, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gregg Allman, Bonnie Raitt, and the late Dr. John.
He also performed on Kirk Franklin's 1998 Grammy Award winning album for Best Contemporary soul Gospel Album "Nu Nation Project".
Though the Blues genre was a highly valuable experience, Warren's true love was blending an organic instrument into various electronic music projects introducing a more human aspect with the improvisation and composition. Thus, with the successful MrMoods collaboratios behind him, he was invited to collaborate with accomplished electronic artist "Qero" (Michael Beaumont). This new pairing has offered another unique opportunity for an electronic collaboration, this time dedicated to the rich history and culture of Mexico, Central and South America, augmented with rich video combined with the unique art of Jonathan Ramirez.
